The Creation Process - Channelling the Divine Imagery to the Drums
These are CUSTOM 16"(40cm) Vegan FRAME DRUMS played with the hands, different to the Medicine Drum which is played with a mallet. The Imagery is Divinely Channelled, either it comes exclusively through me or as in the case of the Commissioned Drums, there is a consultation. expression, channelling and I then go into the Drawing Process on paper and then translate that to the Drum accompanied by more consultation with the customer. The whole process from preparing the Drum surface, consultation, Drawing, Design Development, Painting up onto Drum and sealing the drum, and arranging the Drum Cover is easily over 50hours of loving labour! The Drum Frame is Accousticon and the Drum Head is FIBRETEK from REMO DRUMS.

Awakening Warrior
This is a CUSTOM 16" (40cm) Vegan FRAME DRUM. It is played with the hands; different to the Medicine Drum - that is played with a mallet. The drum comes in a beautiful black velvet draw string bag. The Maori Sea God/Awakening Warrior FRAME DRUM began coming through in 2024. He has been journeying with me for a while, and now I am releasing him to the collective. I paint the drums with Acrylic Paint. To my amazement they all have a different sound. It is not only the treatment/ differing depths of paint applied but also the IMAGERY alters the FREQUENCY resonating from the Drum!!!
